The world time complication has been one of Patek Philippe’s most enduring and popular complications, and is inextricably linked to the original conceiver, famed watchmaker Louis Cottier. In the year 2000 Patek Philippe revived the complication in wristwatch form with the introduction of the reference 5110 in all four precious metals. This reference was eventually discontinued in 2006 and was replaced by reference 5130. This world time wristwatch features 24 cities on the exterior revolving chapter ring, which can be easily adjusted by the pusher positioned at 10 o'clock.
