The present lot features the celebrated caliber 33.3, the predecessor of one of the most famous watch movements of all time - the Omega cal. 321, which powered the original Speedmasters - The First Watch Worn On The Moon. The caliber 33.3 was originally produced in 1933 by Lemania and can be found most commonly in early Omega chronographs like the present lot. Thee present example is particularly attractive with a striking yellow gold case dressed with oval pushers. The two toned gilt concentric dial features Arabic numerals, tachometer, telemeter and snail pulsations scales along with overlapping chronograph counters.
The lot is offered by a private collector, and gathers all the striking qualities an enthusiast looks for.
