Urwerk was founded in 1997 by Felix Baumgartner and Martin Frei. The independent brand focuses on technical innovation and futuristic designs. Their creations showcase alternative ways of displaying the time, using discs and modular revolving parts instead of hands.

The UR-105 TA is crafted from titanium with a black finish and powered by the cal. UR 5.03, an impressive automatic movement allowing the time to be displayed through revolving satellites. The digital lecture of the time is paired with a control mechanism allowing the wearer to prevent the dual turbines to rotate. The movement can this way be preserved from shock-inducing activities and operate in a seamless and precise way.

The limited production capacity of Urwerk combined with the avant-garde design of their pieces allow them to hold a unique position in the market and led to the creation of a passionate, like-minded collector community.
