The Patek Philippe reference 96 was the first watch released by Jean and Henri Stern following their acquisition of the brand in 1932. The first Calatrava of a long series of traditionally exquisite timepieces, the reference 96 saw an outsanding production life, spanning from 1932 to 1973.
The present rare and nicely preserved example belongs to the 4th series and is powered by the Geneva-hallmarked caliber 27-AM 400. The sought-after platinum case was manufactured by Antoine Gerlach SA and is elegantly complemented by factory-set diamond indexes.
