The Calatrava reference 1527 was introduced in 1942 and produced until 1950. Patek Philippe offered the reference in yellow and pink gold in addition to stainless steel and platinum versions. The Stern Frères dial bears the traditional two-tone layout with bullet markers as well as the long hard-enamelled signature. The 18k pink gold snap-on case is signed Emile Vichet and unmistakenly identifiable thanks to its refined and elongated lugs.
