In 2008, Michel Parmigiani ambitiously set to further-improve the classic dual-time complication. The Kalpa Hémisphères was released following a yachtman's feedback regarding the lack of adaptability on the available models, and 2 years of complex research. The Kalpa Hémisphères boasts the innovative caliber 337, allowing the wearer to set the second timezone to the minute, with both hour hands being synchronized to a 24-hour calendar. The double crown setup facilitates the independent setting of the two time-zones, which elevated the new release to a must-have status in countries which relied on more precise time-zones than the standard 1 hour increment.

The present stainless steel example stands in excellent condition and is fitted with a striking silvered dial, garnered with small colourful touches, blending creative design with tremendous functionality.
