Jaeger LeCoultre launched the Master Grande Tradition Minute Repeater in 2009, following the Maison's 175th anniversary. This technical tour-de-force stands among the first Jaeger LeCoultre pieces fitted with a novel silicon escapement. The impressive caliber 947R boasts for the first time a 15-day power reserve coupled with a minute repeater and a regulator display. The elegant dial displays the power reserve in addition to a torque indicator, allowing one to ensure the watch stays within its optimal accuracy zone. The precision is furthermore tested extensively thanks to the 1000 Hours Chrono Label, a newly introduced certification following lengthy and unforgiving tests.
A rarity, the present yellow gold example is part of a limited edition of only 100 pieces, and bears the number 002. This low numbered example is offered with its full suite of accessories and would be an appealing choice for the informed collector.
