In 2009, Cartier launched the Collection Privé Cartier Paris (C.P.C.P) comprising of 10 watches. This historically important moment allowed Cartier to unveil its manufacture movements, showcasing the watchmaking abilities of the legendary Maison.

Surely the pièce-de-resistance of the new C.P.C.P family, the present Ballon Bleu Tourbillon in white gold bears the calibre 9452 MC, boasting a flying tourbillon. The manufacture calibre is touted with the Geneva Seal, vetting its superior fit and finish.

Numbered 87, the timepiece bears a fully guilloché as a base dial, flanked with a semi skeletonised ring for the time-reading information. The flying tourbillon proudly sits in its large opening at 6 o'clock, free of any bridge to allow the wearer to fully grasp the beauty of the twirling cage.

Offered with its original Certificate dated from the model's introduction year and its presentation case, the present example stands as a great opportunity to include the best of Cartier in a complication-focused collection. The last retail price for this piece was approximately GBP 120,000.
