Presented in 1971 and available until 1986, the Rolex reference 6263 is one of the most popular, reliable and iconic watches of the last century. Due to this elongated production period, multiple case and dial variations exist, including steel, 14k, and 18k gold cases, and dial configurations including exotic, big red, and sigma variants. The current 6263 contains a rare "Sigma Dial" with two lower case Greek Sigma letters bracketing the "T Swiss T" at six o'clock. The Sigma designation was used by Rolex and a number of other brands throughout the 1970’s to signify that the applied hour markers were constructed from gold, in this case 18k white gold.

The present watch maintains its status as a highly attractive and handsome piece for daily use and is in good condition.
