Description

Château Pichon Longueville, Baron 2005

Pauillac, 2ème Cru Classé

Purple damson colour. Big Pauillac style - comparisons with Pontet Canet. The sheer health of the vintage bursts out of the glass. Pronounced acidity and big shoulders. Tight-knit at four years old. Cassis finish. A big, sturdy wine that needs decades to hone down. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
