AN UNCOMMON COLLECTION OF WATERCOLOURS OF EGYPTIAN COSTUME AND LIFE IN A HANDSOME BINDING. The album contains 74 depictions of traditional male and female costume, trades and occupations, processions, depictions of men at prayer, and 2 views: a felucca on the Nile, and the pyramids and sphinx at Giza. The subjects include soldiers, a man on a camel, food preparation and cooking, dancers, musicians and jugglers, drink sellers and street traders, women with children, porters, and processional scenes.
