ONE OF THE EARLIEST "MODERN" MAPS OF PALESTINE, from the second edition of the celebrated Ulm edition of the Cosmographia, the first atlas with woodcut maps and the first to be printed outside Italy. The water is coloured in blue instead of the golden brown that is normally used for the second edition.
