in Russian, authorizing the renewal of the salary of fifty roubles to Lucia Geisa, the superintendent of Her Lady's maids, 1 page, oblong 4to (half page of a folio leaf, c.30 x 19cm), "C & I Honig" paper, Winter Palace [Saint Petersburg], 14 April 1742

"...Decree directed to Our Court Office. To the woman appointed to oversee our Lady's Maids, Lucia Geisa, pay our salary again this year of fify roubles..."


Elisaveta Petrovna, daughter of Peter the Great, was born in 1709 and ruled as Empress from 1741 until 1762.
