requesting his attendance at a meeting for "promoting the establishment of a Royal College of Music for providing systematic instruction for all classes of Her Majesty's subjects", 2 pages, 4to, integral blank, headed stationery of Marlborough House, London, 23 February 1882


The Prince of Wales worked closely with Sir George Grove to establish the Royal College of Music, which was opened by the Prince on 7 May 1883.
