This portrait has a certain similarity with the one sold at Christie's in 1997 (3 December 1997, lot 69). In this case, it was also about a Crivelli portrait realised by the best of Lombard portraiture around 1680. 


We kindly thank Mr Filippo Maria Ferro for dating this painting to circa 1680.

Ce portrait est à rapprocher d'un tableau passé en vente chez Christie's en 1997 (3 décembre 1997, lot 69). Il s'agissait d'un portrait de Crivelli réalisé par un excellent portraitiste lombard actif vers 1680.
