For a fish dish in the same spirit by Joseph Chaumet for Simon Patiño, see Sotheby's sale, London, 29 April 2014, lot 297. Simon Ituri Patiño (1862-1947), known as the king of tin, commissioned this service in 1917 to Chaumet for his wife Albina Rodriguez. It is one of the very few silver service orders delivered by the famous jeweler Chaumet.
Pour un plat à poisson dans le même esprit par Joseph Chaumet pour Simon Patiño, voir vente Sotheby's, Londres, le 29 avril 2014, lot 297.Simon Ituri Patiño (1862-1947), connu comme le roi de l'étain, a commandé ce service en 1917 à Chaumet pour son épouse Albina Rodriguez. C'est une des très rares commandes d'orfèvrerie de table livrées par le fameux bijoutier Chaumet.
