Peter Francis Peters' patrons included King Wilhelm I of Württemberg (1781-1864), his daughter-in-law the Grand-Duchess Olga (see the interior of the Villa Berg offered in this sale), as well as the crown prince of Prussia, Friedrich-Wilhelm (1831-1888) for whom he executed an album of thirty-five views of the Hohenzollern land.
