on a white marble base, the geometric design with a first border with bianco e nero di Aquitania oval cartouches interspersed by Africano verde brecciato shaped cartouches, the corners with roundels of portoro marble, all on a brocatello di Spagna ground; the inner band with squares of rosso and verde antichi, centered by losanges of breccia policroma ovoide capitolina; all centered by a octagonal panel of serpentina brecciata rossa di Levanto with a brocatello border, on a later gilt-bronze reeded conforming frame with two hanging rings
