1998 Derek Jeter Game Used & Signed Bat From the Willie Randolph Collection – World Series Championship & Team of The Century Season (Randolph Loa, Psa/Dna Gu 9 & Jsa)
The 1998 New York Yankees had one of the greatest seasons in the history of Major League Baseball. That year, Jeter was selected for his first All-Star Game. In the regular season, he batted .324 with a league-leading 127 runs, 19 home runs, and 84 RBIs, for a team that won 114 games during the regular season and is widely considered to be one of the greatest of all time. Jeter also finished 3rd in the AL MVP Voting. At some point during the season, or in the offseason, the future Yankees legend gifted one of his slightly cracked bats to a proven pinstripe superstar, who was currently coaching at the time, Willie Randolph. Jeter’s Louisville Slugger P72 model bat shows excellent game use with a cracked handle. The barrel has several prominent ball marks along with stitch impressions, bat rack paint streaks and cleat imprints. The Yankees legend has signed the barrel in bold silver marker, completing this rookie-era gamer. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA for the game use. There is also a signed LOA from former Major Leaguer Willie Randolph stating this bat comes from his personal collection and a LOA from JSA for the signature.
