2 volumes, 4to (10 1/4 x 7 1/2 in.; 260 x 190 mm). Dry-point frontispiece, titles in red and black, folding facsimile of Walton's will, red-lettered tissue guards, etched plates by William Strang and D.Y. Cameron; some scattered foxing to preliminary leaves, not affecting plates. Three-quarter green morocco over green cloth, spines with raised bands in six compartments, second and fourth gilt-letters, others with gilt angling motif, top edges gilt, marbled endpapers; spines sunned, foxing to fore-edges and endpapers.


The Winchester Edition, number 96 of 150 copies, signed by illustrators William Strang and D.Y. Cameron.
