The Flora Farnese is one of the iconic ancient marbles of the celebrated Farnese collection, which was originally displayed in the courtyard of the Palazzo Farnese in Rome and is now in the Museo Archeologico Nazionale in Naples. A very similar terracotta version of the Flora Farnese from the collection of the Fürsten Hohenlohe-Schillingsfürst, Schloss Schillingsfürst, was sold in these rooms on 6 December 2011, lot 83.
