This poster was printed on heavier paper stock, and issued unfolded. It was mainly used for drive-in cinemas, and therefore fewer were printed.

Over time many of these larger format posters have been folded or damage, and it is therefore rare to find one that is unfolded and in such good condition.

This was the final film made in the original Star Wars trilogy, which is now the sixth film, owing to the subsequent prequel trilogy.
