Kamimura Kazuo designed a very stylish and colourful poster for the Japanese release of the film, which ties in very well with the use of colour in the film.

This French romantic drama was directed and written by Jacques Demy and stars Catherine Deneuve and Nino Castelnuovo. The story focuses on young lovers Geneviève Emery (Catherine Deneuve) and Guy Foucher (Nino Castelnuovo), and is presented in four parts, with the entire dialogue being sung. The music was composed by Michel Legrand.
