It is rare for anyone to have an original lobby card poster signed, as the majority of signatures are on pieces of paper, photographs and video/dvd sleeves. It is unusual to have the film's lobby card with you when you try to obtain signatures.

Harvey is a classic James Stewart comedy-drama, based on Mary Chase's Pulitzer prize-winning play of the same name. It was directed by Henry Koster, and tells the story of a man whose best friend is a pooka (a mythology spirit able to take on the form of various animals). In this film Harvey is a 6' 3½" tall rabbit.

This lobby card was previously in the collection of a US collector, who obtained the signature in person at the Motion Picture retirement home in Los Angeles, run by the Academy, where he visited.
