This film was directed by Joshua Logan, and stars Marilyn Monroe, Don Murray, Arthur O'Connell and Betty Field. This was Monroe's first dramatic role after studying at the Actors Studio in New York, although she does sing one song 'That Old Black Magic' by Harold Arlen and Johnny Mercer.
