This film was directed by Steven Spielberg, adapted from the novel by Alice Walker. The film stars Danny Glover, Whoopi Goldberg and Oprah Winfrey. It tells the story of a black Southern woman and her struggles over four decades of abuse. This poster was signed by Whoopi Goldberg when she was in Sister Act at the London Palladium. Danny Glover signed it at the BFI, London, during Black Star season. It is rare for anyone to have an original film poster signed, as the majority of signatures are on pieces of paper, photographs and video/dvd sleeves. It is unusual to have the film's poster with you when you try to obtain signatures.
