This film was directed by Paul Verhoeven, and stars Peter Weller, Nancy Allen and Dan O'Herlihy. It takes place in the near future, in a crime-ridden Detroit where murdered police officer Alex Murphy, played by Peter Weller, is revived and turned into the superhuman cyborg law enforcer RoboCop. This poster was signed by Paul Verhoeven at the BFI, London. Peter Weller added his signature at a private signing event. It is rare for anyone to have an original film poster signed, as the majority of signatures are on pieces of paper, photographs and video/dvd sleeves. It is unusual to have the film's poster with you when you try to obtain signatures.
