This film was written and directed by Sofia Coppola, and stars Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson. It is set in Tokyo, where an aging American movie star encounters a bored and somewhat disillusioned young woman. The two characters are lost in their own respective lives, which is amplified whilst they are in Tokyo, with its unfamiliar culture. Their platonic friendship blossoms, and they begin to feel connected to one another. Sofia Coppola won an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay. This poster was signed by Sofia Coppola after the screening of her film The Beguiled. It is rare for anyone to have an original film poster signed, as the majority of signatures are on pieces of paper, photographs and video/dvd sleeves. It is unusual to have the film's poster with you when you try to obtain signatures.
