This film was written and directed by Pedro Almodóvar, and stars Marisa Paredes, Juan Echanove and Carme Elias. Marisa Paredes plays Leo Macías, an author of popular romantic novels. Unlike those people in her novels, Macias is not happy in her professional life or with her husband. Her melancholy state changes the direction of her writing to explore deeper and gloomier aspects of life. Mr. Sohal has always been a great admirer of Pedro Almodóvar, and was lucky to meet him at a book signing in London, where he was promoting his new book The Pedro Almodóvar Archives. When he was shown the posters he said 'wow you have all the original Spanish posters, I am really impressed'. It is rare for anyone to have an original film poster signed, as the majority of signatures are on pieces of paper, photographs and video/dvd sleeves. It is unusual to have the film's poster with you when you try to obtain signatures.
