This psychological thriller was written, produced, edited and directed by the Coen brothers. It stars John Turturro as Barton Fink, a young renowned New York playwright, who is lured to Hollywood to write film scripts. His neighbour at the sinister hotel where he stays is Charlie Meadows, played by John Goodman - a cheerful insurance salesman, who tries to help Fink when he suffers from writer's block. During Fink's struggles peculiar events occur, which hinder Fink further from completing his writing. John Turturro signed this poster when he was at the BFI to talk about his new show The Night Of. John Goodman signed the poster after a performance of the West End show American Buffalo. It is rare for anyone to have an original film poster signed, as the majority of signatures are on pieces of paper, photographs and video/dvd sleeves. It is unusual to have the film's poster with you when you try to obtain signatures.
