N. Sluitjer-Seijffert, Cornelis van Poelenburch 1594/5-1667: The Paintings, Amsterdam 2016, p. 367, under cat. no. 233 (as a copy, and seemingly with incorrect later provenance).
This copper closely follows a painting by Cornelis van Poelenburgh of circa 1625-1627 in the Musée du Louvre, Paris.1 Another version of this composition appeared at auction in Vienna, Dorotheum, 7 April 2006, lot 88.
