AFTER CRISTOFANO ALLORI | JUDITH WITH THE SEVERED HEAD OF HOLOFERNES

This painting is a 19th century copy after Cristofano Allori's original canvas in the Buckingham Palace, London.¹ This became one of Allori’s best-known compositions, as the existence of numerous versions of the subject by the artist and his workshop attests.
