This petrified wood natural monolith measures 53 inches tall by 23 inches in diameter at its widest point (135.3 x 58.4 cm).

An uncommonly large, single specimen of a petrified wood log that was cut and trimmed and found on a private Ranch, near Arizona's Petrified Forest National Park. The quality of fossilization on the present specimen extends to the superb bark texture that covers most of the exterior and displays a lovely burnt sugar coloration. One end has been polished to reveal the interior structure showing that the preservation is so fine that many of the growth rings have been preserved and are easily visible which adds a dimension of artistic aesthetics.
