• Movement: gilded, separate barrels for time and music trains, watch movement with inverted cylinder escapement, plain three-arm balance • sur plateau musical movement with 20 tuned teeth plucked by pins on both sides of a revolving disc, large barrel and decoratively engraved cap, music and automata activated on the hour or on demand

• Dial: eccentric cream enamel time dial, Arabic numerals, outer pearled minute ring, blued steel moon hands, automaton scene beneath depicting St George slaying the dragon, his right arm raising and lowering his sword, the dragon at this feet, to the left a niche with blued steel background within which a nude lady with drapery appears

• Case: gold, milled bezels and band, plain polished back, slide to activate music at 2 o'clock, gilt-metal dust cap, three apertures for winding trains and hand-setting
