AN ENGLISH ALBUM OF BOTANICAL WATERCOLORS, 19TH CENTURY 

Folio album comprising 29 botanical watercolors on paper (various sizes) mounted to album leaves; some album leaves frayed and loosening. Early 19th century half red morocco, clasps and catches; very worn, spine perished.

The watercolors are unsigned and appear to be by a variety of hands; many of them incorporate the figure of a butterfly or moth into the composition.
