New York, Davis & Langdale Company Inc, Works on Paper, 1st October - 9th November 2002, cat. no.2, illustrated.

The present work is a preliminary design for one of the fifty Famous Woman Dinner Service plates decorated by Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant as part of a dinner service commissioned from the artists by Lord Kenneth Clark and his wife Jane Clark in 1932. The fifty plates are now in the collection of Charleston.
