THREE WOODBLOCK PRINTS
EDO PERIOD (19TH CENTURY)
Each woodblock print, from the series Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido Road (Tokaido gojusan tsugi no uchi), signed Hiroshige ga, the first and third prints published by Takenouchi Magohachi (Hoeido), the second print published by Takenouchi Magohachi (Hoeido) and Tsuruya Kiemon (Senkakudo), circa 1833–34, comprising:
- Shimada: the Suruga Bank of the Oi River (Shimada, Oigawa sungan),
- Fukuroi: Tea Stall (Fukuroi, dejaya no zu)
- Fujikawa: Scene at Post Outskirts (Fujikawa, bohana No zu)
All horizontal oban:

The First: 25 x 37.5 cm., 9 7/8 x 14 3/4 in.
The Second: 23.5 x 26.5 cm., 9 1/4 x 10 1/2 in.
The Third: 24.5 x 37.5 cm., 9 5/8 x 14 3/4 in.
The first print was exhibited at Le Musée National des Arts Asiatiques - Guimet, Paris, July-October 2019
