In 1995 Omega secured a franchise to provide Bond with his watch. Pierce Brosnan was the first Bond to wear an Omega Seamaster watch in Goldeneye, and Bond has continued to wear an Omega Seamaster since then.

This is the twentieth Bond film and the nineteenth to be produced by Eon Productions. It was directed by Michael Apted, and was the third to feature Pierce Brosnan as James Bond.
