wood, springs, roulette wheel, collaged paper and toilet paper mounted on a wooden base

Height: 47.3cm., 18⅝in.

Conceived in 1946; 1 unique example created in 1946, followed by an edition executed in 1973 (edited by Sergio Tosi, Milan). This example is an artist’s proof from the edition of 15 plus 2 artist’s proofs.


Andrew Strauss and Timothy Baum of the Man Ray Expertise Committee have confirmed the authenticity of this work and that the edition of this work will be included in the Catalogue of Objects & Sculptures of Man Ray, currently in preparation.
