inscribed J. Lipchitz, numbered 2/7 and with the artist's fingerprint on the upper edge
bronze relief
55.5 by 70cm., 21⅞ by 27½in.
Conceived in 1918 and cast in bronze in an edition of 7 at a later date; this example was cast in 1962 by the Modern Art Foundry, New York.
The authenticity of this work has kindly been confirmed by Pierre Levai.
