Reference 5512 appears to be similar to the universally popular reference 5513. It is a version fitted with a chronometer certified self winding caliber 1570 movement. As seen on the third and fourth lines on the dial, the movement in this model underwent strict timing tests conducted by the COSC (Contrôle Officiel Suisse des Chronomètres), a Swiss institution given the important task of certifying the precision and accuracy of movements. The production of the reference 5512 started in 1959 and ended in 1978. The watch is furthermore in very appealing and excellent overall condition.
