Initially introduced in 2005, Patek Philippe’s reference 5959 features some important beginnings of the brand’s legacy. Incorporating the brand’s first in-house chronograph movement, calibre CHR 27-525 PS is also the world’s thinnest split seconds chronograph, measuring at a record-breaking 5.25 mm. Thanks to the ingenious design of the swiping 60-minute register, space could be saved and the movement could be made thinner. Featuring a retro mono-pusher, stylish Breguet numerals and a humble officer’s case, the reference 5959 offers a vintage look and is widely appreciated by collectors.
Complete with Certificate of Origin and presentation box, the present watch is offered in excellent overall condition.
