The history of Patek Philippe’s World Time watches could be traced all the way back to the 1930s, in which the dial simultaneously displays 24 time zones of the world on two rotational dial discs. Inheriting this legacy, reference 5131 was introduced in 2008 with a cloisonné enamel dial depicting the Americas, Europe and Africa. Offered in other variations such as white gold, pink gold and platinum, the present example features a yellow gold case in factory seal, and has never been worn before.
