well cast, poised as if leading a horse by the reins, the foreign groom outfitted in the typical peaked cap, belted robe and tall boots, the body slightly bent at the waist from effort and the proper right hand raised to grasp the horse's lead, mounted on a modern stand, Japanese wood box (4)
