QING DYNASTY

清 青玉雕山水人物圖插屏連碧玉座一對


each screen of flattened disk form, one carved to one side with a garden scene depicting an elderly scholar assisted by an acolyte standing amid lush trees issuing from craggy rocks, amid jagged cliffs nestling a balcony, the reverse with a prunus branch, the other table screen carved on one side with an immortal accompanied by a deer and an attendant in a landscape setting, the reverse with a similar prunus branch, the stone of celadon tone with grayish tinge, each plaque paired with a composite spinach-green and celadon jade stand carved with kuilong (5)
