清乾隆 銅鎏金嵌寶地藏菩薩坐像



the bodhisattva of the underworld cast seated in vajraparyankasana with the right hand in vitarkamudra, crowned with a pointed diadem containing the five Tathagata Buddhas with two trailing sashes falling down the shoulders, the serene rounded face with downcast eyes, the hair applied with blue pigment, draped in luxuriant robes falling in crisp folds around the body and tied at waist, the pendulous earlobes and bare chest adorned with elaborate jewelry suspending coral and turquoise inlay, all raised on a double-lotus base, mounted to a wood stand
