We have enjoyed a close collaboration for all these years and he has always been an inspirational to me in his dedication to his pursuit of explaining the third world to the first world and his use of the power of photography to document the human condition. There is no one else like him working today. His focus and work ethic and vision are unparalleled.
In this sense he is a pure continuum of the work created by the giants of 20th Century photojournalism., Henri Cartier Bresson Robert Capa, W Eugene Smith and Dorothea Lange.
