Oblong 4to (8 1/8 x 10 1/2 in.; 206 x 267 mm). 39 pen-and-ink and wash drawings over graphite (each approx.: 4 x 5 1/2 in.; 102 x 140 mm), with black ink borders, each mounted recto and verso onto 20 cards. Contemporary black morocco, covers elaborately paneled in gilt, upper cover with gilt title, spine with raised bands in five compartments, each decoratively tooled in gilt, edges gilt, floral patterned endpapers, early Rome bookseller's ticket on the front endpaper.
