with steeply rounded sides rising to an everted rim, painted around the body in tones of deep cobalt blue with four ruyi-bordered roundels enclosing four stylised characters reading Wanshou wujiang (boundless long life), interspersed amongst lotus sprays and beribboned bajixiang, all between a classic scroll and a lappet band, the interior with further emblems surrounding a single stylised shou character, the base with a six-character seal mark in underglaze blue
