i) Letter signed, to C.A. Whitmore (“My dear Whitmore”), concerning a petition about “Pauper Emigration”, marked Private, 2 pages, integral blank, 8vo, 4 Carlton Gardens, 29 April 1892;


ii) Typed letter signed, to Miss Morritt, thanking her for the “invitation to speak at your demonstration” but declining (“…public engagements make it quite impossible…”), marked Private, 2 pages, integral blank, 4 Carlton Gardens, 4 July 1893; 


iii) Letter signed, to Lady Susan, marked Private, 2 pages, 10 Downing Street headed stationery corrected in ink to Chatsworth, 4 January 1899


iv) photographic portrait, black and white postcard, by Bassano Ltd, published by Davidson Brothers, c. 1902, addressed on verso to “Hy. J. Ridsdill”;


v) autograph note signed "With Mr Balfour's compliments", 8 November 1906
